Shift scheduling for restaurants and cafés
Lunch, dinner, a late close and an early delivery — with a team where the grill, the bar and the floor are three different rosters wearing one uniform.
The shifts you actually run
A service is not a nine-to-five. Weeksort takes shifts to the minute, lets one shift cross midnight, and lets a single slot need three people. Mark the slots the service cannot open without, and see them flagged while they are still short.
Why the week takes an evening
Somebody has to remember who can close, who is studying, who asked for Saturday off three weeks ago, and who legally cannot start at eight after finishing at one. That knowledge lives in one person's head, and rebuilding it every week is the job nobody scheduled.
What Weeksort does about it
Rest between shifts, watched
Set a minimum rest and a maximum run of days per person. Put somebody on an opening after a close and you are told before you publish, not after.
Who can work the bar
A position lists the qualifications it needs. Only people who hold them show up as eligible, so a bar shift cannot quietly be filled by somebody who cannot serve.
Fridays look like Fridays
Save the week you usually run as a template, or copy the last good one, and spend your evening on the differences instead of on the grid.
Then publish it
Your team opens their own shifts on their phones. Swap requests and offers come to you in one place instead of in four group chats, and nothing changes until you agree to it.
