Join code

A join code is a short code belonging to a workplace that lets a person ask to join it. Knowing the code does not get anybody in: a manager still approves every person who knocks with it.

Why it matters in a small workplace

Getting a whole team onto anything new is where most attempts stop. A code on a poster by the till asks nothing of the manager except approving the people who use it, and nothing of the team except a phone.

How Weeksort handles it

Weeksort prints the poster for you, with the code and a square to scan. Somebody scans it, asks to join, and a manager approves or denies them. Rotating the code stops every printed copy of the old one working, immediately.
