Weeksort

Get the app

Nothing here needs a download today. Weeksort is a website built for phones as well as laptops, and it can be installed to a home screen so it opens like anything else on the device.

Who this is for
Everybody. One account, whichever way you open it.

Step by step

  1. Sign in from your phone's browser

That gives you the whole staff side of Weeksort: your shifts, your ranking, your requests and your inbox, sized for the screen you are holding.

  2. Add it to your home screen

Your browser's own share or menu button has an add-to-home-screen item in it. That puts Weeksort one tap away instead of behind a typed address, and it opens in your browser, with the browser's own bar around it. An install that drops the bar is part of the app's own web version, and this page will point at it on the day that door is open.

  3. The Android app

An Android app is built and is on its way to the Play Store. There is no store listing to send you to yet, so this page will point at it on the day there is one.

  4. On an iPhone

There is no iPhone app and no App Store listing. The home-screen shortcut above is what an iPhone gets, and what you get there is the same screens in the same twelve languages.

  5. What the phone does not do

Building the week — positions, qualifications, rule sets, drawing the shifts and publishing them — stays on the website, on a screen big enough for it. Managers can approve time off, swaps and the people asking to join from a phone.

One account either way

Sign in on a phone or on a laptop and it is the same workplace, the same shifts and the language you chose. Nothing is stored on one device that is not on the other.
